HIGH TEST STEEL CHAIN has a higher carbon content, and exceptional strength to weight ratio. This can be an important advantage in many applications since it permits the use of smaller and lighter sizes of High Test chain without any loss of strength or safety. The chain is highly resistant not only to normal wear but to abrasive or cutting action, and is widely used in mining, hauling, logging and oil field operations.
Material: Basic carbon steel. The materail diameter may be larger than that shown below but may not be 3% or more smaller. Larger sizes are available on request.
Attachments: High Test chain can be easily fitted with any combination of standard chain attachments such as rings, slip or grab hooks, eye bolts, snaps, or swivels. A wide variety of special attachments can also be used. Chain can be supplied in cut lengths, as specified, and with or without attachments.
Standard Finishes: Self Colored. For other finishes please inquire.
Standard Packing: Bulk, in 300 lb. or 600 lb. Fibre Drums. Unless otherwise specified the 600 lb. container will be furnished. Cut lengths are also packed in bulk containers. Also available on reels and in pails. |
